The Challenge

Summer collections often default to bright, loud, and fast. LUMINA wanted the opposite — a feeling of slow, intentional luxury that mirrors late summer’s golden calm. The challenge was to design a site that felt like a sun-warmed breeze: light, effortless, and refined.

The Approach

We created a tranquil, cinematic landing page that invited users to linger. Inspired by the softness of worn linen and endless coastal skies, the site delivered a sensory digital experience grounded in warmth and ease.

Key focuses included:

• A warm, sun-bleached color palette evoking peach tones, driftwood, and sand.

• Slow, dissolving transitions mimicking the passage of a long summer day.

• Editorial blocks paired with handwritten notes to add intimacy and tactility.

• Subtle animations that followed the user’s movement like the sway of curtains in a breeze.
