The Challenge

SOLARA’s SS25 collection was inspired by Mediterranean landscapes — but they didn’t want a cliché sun-and-sea aesthetic. The goal was to bring in the richness of culture, handcraft, and organic beauty without becoming obvious.

The Approach

We treated the site like a modern gallery, where each piece had room to breathe. Earth tones, natural textures, and intuitive movement formed the core of an experience designed to feel hand-touched, not mass-produced.

Key focuses included:

• Sandstone-inspired layout grid for organic visual rhythm.

• Hover effects resembling handwoven fabric motion.

• Botanical illustrations subtly woven through the interface.

• Horizontal scrolling galleries inspired by ancient friezes and tapestries.
